Stonefather is a studio project that creates original songs that hold their own, and offer a backstory of content that spans across bands.
Jason has been playing guitar since he was 8. Originally, he wanted to be an artist in junior college, and switched to a music major at UNLV for a time. He worked as a Sound Engineer for the Sportsfan Radio Network in Vegas. He played in several bands such as Ben Simple, Lazarus Lake (Seattle) to name a few. He currently produces music under Rad Rocket, LLC.
Tony Hyte has played bass on all of our water-themed songs to date, and regularly participates in the writing process. For example, Riptide was built around his bass line and he co-wrote the lyrics.
Tony and Jason were in a previous band called Sleepwalker with Brett Wood (drummer). There has been some discussion of collaborating on new material. Sleepwalker may appear in the Stonefather storyline with songs written under the direction of Tony and/or Brett.
Jeremy Schreifels played drums on Under the Sand and Current Flow. And, is working with Stonefather on a collab with Ultra-Mega (with Mark Stone, a very good rock and country singer). Jeremy is also a very well established drummer in rock and country that plays quite often in many projects, as well as a music producer and executive mentor, and all around cool dude. He even owns a coffee line.
Tyler Peterson is our new live performance drummer who will begin with us in March 2024.
Stonefather is planning live shows and looking to fill several musician and supporting spots. Visit our jobs section for more.
